Saturday 10/4 Mountain Ridge HS Show

We will be traveling to Mountain Ridge HS for our second competition of the season. Here are some reminders for you and your students:

• Itinerary attached to this email.
• Students will need to wear their show shirt, SM shorts, Vipers, and full uniform for this performance.
• Students should bring money for dinner this evening. We will be stopping at Crossroad Towne Center for an hour.
• Please ensure your student brings their water bottle and sling.
• Call time for rehearsal is at 3pm on the main field.
• We are asking all parent volunteers who are helping in the P.I.T. Crew to show up to the school at 5pm.
• Any parents showing up to the competition to help with props need to be at the school no later than 8pm.
• Our performance is at 9:05pm. We will return to the school between 11:15 – 11:45pm that evening.

Mountain Ridge Comp Parent Volunteer Signup

• Parents please signup on Boosterhub if you plan on helping with our upcoming performance this Saturday. We will need the whole crew ensuring we get on and off the field within 15 minutes in order to not get penalized. Thank you for all your support!

Band Family BBQ/Potluck Signup

We're excited to host our upcoming Band Family BBQ. To make sure we have a delicious variety of food, we've created a list of food items and assigned items to each section. Below are the assignments. Click on an item below to sign up for the food item. Please note that we may have nut allergies, so no nuts please.

Percussion-Desserts

Brass- Chips or Pasta Salads

Guard-Fruits/Veggie Trays

Winds-Powerade/Gatorade

“Sounds at Sunrise” Volunteer Signup

We're excited to host our upcoming Sounds of Sunrise Competition on 10/11. We still require approximately 50 volunteers within a limited timeframe, as our competition is shorter this year, to ensure the success of this day. Send it out to family and friends 😊See an Need, Fill a Need – It takes a village!! We appreciate all the help!

If you are willing to lend us your pop-up tent for the day, please sign up for a slot. These tents will be really helpful for shade during the event. We will make sure to take good care of them and return them right after. Please give us your name and phone number, so that we can contact you after the competition. We appreciate your help and support!

Playing Assignments/Practice Records

• Playing Assignment #4 is Due by Monday 10/6.
• Practice records will be due on Monday 9/29 as well. For convenience I have attached the practice record to this email for you to print and sign.
